Matt Elliott shows how the Kangaroos defender is over committed and exploited by Shaun Johnson.

He's a veteran coach of 272 NRL games and Matt Elliott has his say on NRL.com every week during season 2016 to dissect all the plays that matter in The Breakdown.

This week Elliott looks at how the Kiwis have managed to beat Australia three games in a row thanks to some extraordinary scramble defence and big strong forwards in attack.

While the team lists might be slightly different on Friday night at Hunter Stadium, the tactics will largely stay the same and Elliott examines how the game will be won and lost.
