The Top 14 players get down to business in Episode 2 of The NRL Rookie.

With the Top 14 selected, the NRL Rookies move into their beachside palace, but now the real work begins.

Newcastle great Adam 'Mad Dog' MacDougall puts the boys through an intense weights session, to find out who is the strongest of the bunch.

From the gym to ANZ stadium and the Rookies undergo their first Captain's Challenge, which grants the winner immunity for the week. For some they will face and conquer their biggest fears, but for one, it proves all too much.

From mental to physical hardships; injuries continue to impact one of the Rookies' chances in the competition.

St George Illawarra Dragons play host to the Rookies as they line up for the first time as a team and are confronted by a NSW Ron Massey Cup Representative side.

The Rookies then enter 'The Shed’ for their first session with the team psychologist, Kate Baecher, where they are forced to nominate who their weakest three for the week were. For one of the three, the road to becoming the NRL Rookie will end, but for those remaining, it will mean being one step closer to reaching their NRL dream.
