Wests Tigers forward Josh Aloiai was charged by the NRL match review committee in Round 17.

Wests Tigers forward Josh Aloiai has been handed a grade one tripping charge, the only player to attract the attention of the NRL match review committee in the three Saturday fixtures in Round 17 of the 2016 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

Aloiai, 20, was cited for his challenge on Panthers hooker Peter Wallace late in the Tigers' win over the Panthers at ANZ Stadium, but a previous good record means the young back-rower won't miss any game time with an early guilty plea.
