Wing/Fullback

Players eligible to play WFB dominated the round, with two of the top-five male scorers, and one of the top-five female scorers, coming from this position. But nobody could beat Clint Gutherson's 94-point haul in his side's demolition of the Broncos, which was the highest score of any player in Gameweek 2. Following closely behind was Wests Tigers ace Adam Doueihi (86), while Tiana Penitani had a day out for the Eels, which included a try and a try assist, on her way to 65  points.

Centre

Dane Gagai was a standout in a losing Knights side, with his Bundy Mixer score of 89 reflecting the effort. Included in his stats were an outstanding 14 tackle breaks, to go with a pair of tries and a try assist. Stephen Crichton (76) and Sebastian Kris (71) were the next best, while a relatively quiet week for Isabelle Kelly (37), after her barnstorming season-opener, saw Dragons centres Page McGregor (53) and Keele Browne (40) lead the way among NRLW players.

Half

Broncos No.6 Tarryn Aitken was the highest scoring HLF in either competition, clocking 80 points in a performance which included a number of dynamic attacking plays and some brilliant defensive interventions, including a try-saver on Jessica Sergis in the first half. Aitken finished with two tries and 195 run metres. Raiders half Jamal Fogarty (71) just edged past Roosters playmaker Raecene McGregor (68) for the second-highest score of the round.

Edge Forward

In Gameweek 1 it was Angus Crichton who bagged a double on his way to a big Bundy Mixer score, and this week it was his Tricolours' counterpart Olivia Kernick's turn. As well as her two tries, Kernick made 26 tackles in the Roosters win, and coaches should keep in mind her impressive strike rate going forward, with six tries in nine NRLW games. Three of the top-five scoring male EDG players in Gameweek 2 were owned by less than one percent of teams, with Jaydn Su'a (78) topping the position.

Middle

Titans skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui (77) just edged past Isaiah Papali'i (76) as the top-scoring middle player of the week, with Wests Tigers newbie Tom Freebairn impressing with 70. It was a Titan who led the way for female MID players too, with workaholic Kiwi Fern Georgia Hale scoring 62 in a narrow loss to the Knights. Her Gold Coast teammate Shannon Mato was close behind on 56, helped by her 30 tackles without a miss.

Hooker

It wasn't a great round for the HOK position, with Emma Manzelmann the only hooker to rank in the top 10 scorers in the NRL or NRLW. Manzelmann, who scored 52, was enormous off the bench for the Knights, coming on to score a try and set another one up. Cameron McInnes was the top player in the position, finishing with 62 points.
