A massive first half from the Red V was enough to the see them resign Newcastle to yet another loss at Hunter Stadium.

It took golden point to split these two sides, but the Sharks prevailed via a James Maloney field goal, their 11th consecutive victory.

Despite a cagey opening period, the Bulldogs put on an attacking clinic to dominate an out-of-sorts Broncos side at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night.

Canberra have moved back into the Telstra Premiership top eight after accounting for a Titans team decimated by injury 30-22 at Cbus Super Stadium on Sunday.

Storm v Wests Tigers

The Melbourne Storm raced to a 26 point half-time lead before they were given one mighty scare in the second half as the Wests Tigers fought back to bring the game back to just six points until a Cooper Cronk field goal iced the game.
