NRL CEO Todd Greenberg.

The NRL said today the new Western Sydney Stadium would bring a new level of comfort and entertainment for rugby league fans.

CEO Todd Greenberg said he had no doubt it would quickly become one of Sydney's premier sporting venues.

"We have always said that the best way to attract bigger attendances is by providing fans with better facilities," he said.

"This stadium will bring fans closer to the action than ever and have all the modern comforts that fans deserve.

"When you consider that the stadium will also be near transport, restaurants and other services I have no doubt it will be a huge boost for our fans.

"The NRL looks forward to working closely with the NSW Government on the detailed design and delivery of the new stadium."
