The Parramatta Eels have released Kieran Foran from the remainder of his contract with the club, effective immediately.
In a brief statement released via the club's official website, the Eels announced they had parted ways with their captain after he sought an early release from the remaining three years of his deal.
"The Parramatta Eels have today granted Kieran Foran a release from the remainder of his contract with the club," the statement read.
"The Eels wish him well for the future."
