Biography:

Born in New Zealand, Esan Marsters was a standout in the club's Holden Cup side in 2015 and 2016 and made his international debut at just 17 years of age — starting in Cook Islands' clash against Tonga to qualify for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

Marsters would also play for the Junior Kiwis in 2016 against the Junior Kangaroos.

He would eventually progress to the club's Intrust Super Premiership side in 2017, before making his first-grade debut in Round 13 against St. George-Illawarra. Impressing with his bullocking runs and physical presence at centre, Marsters would remain in the side for every game that year before producing a breakout season in 2018 that saw him feature as one of two players to play every game for Wests Tigers.

Marsters was named the club's Best New Talent Award for 2018, was the team's leading points-scorer and was the only centre in the game to reach 3,000 metres and 49 offloads for the year. He was selected for New Zealand in the mid-year Denver Test against England — scoring the opening try in his side's defeat — and was again named by Coach Michael Maguire in the squad for the end-of-season New Zealand Tests.
