Young gun Bent has only being playing rugby league since 2016, when she strapped on the boots for the Glenmore Park Brumbies at age 15. Stints with the Parramatta Eels and Wests Tigers at Tarsha Cup Under-18s level has seen her progress to the state premiership with first Mounties and now the South Sydney Rabbitohs after Covid-19 ruled the Mounties out of the competition. A two-time Indigenous All Star alongside fellow Dragon Shakiah Tungai, Bent will be out to double down on her outstanding debut season for the Red V last year. If not for age restrictions, coach Daniel Lacey would've signed her in his 2018 inaugural squad. She was New South Wales' women's Origin 18th man in 2019. A high school chess club graduate, Bent is studying education and community services at the University of Western Sydney and TAFE respectively while also working as a case worker.
