Ava Seumanufagai has been promoted to the starting side for the Tigers following an ankle injury to Aaron Woods.

Wests Tigers forward Ava Seumanufagai has signed with the Cronulla Sharks on a two-year deal, starting next season.

"He is a quality NRL front rower who we have been monitoring for two years," Sharks coach Shane Flanagan said.

"We are very excited to add such a player to our 2018 squad and believe we can progress his game to another level."

Having made 96 appearances for the Wests Tigers over five years, Seumanufagai will add size and strength to the Sharks midfield.
