The Melbourne Storm have confirmed skipper Cameron Smith will play in what will be his 350th NRL game despite suffering a pectoral injury last week.
Smith will become just the third player in NRL history to join the 350-Club, alongside greats Darren Lockyer (355) and Terry Lamb (350), when he faces Manly at AAMI Park on Sunday.
The Melbourne, Queensland and Australian Test captain debuted for the Storm in 2002 and earlier this season became the first forward in the history of the game to score more than 2,000 career points.
He was in serious doubt for this weekend's match earlier in the week but the club has now confirmed he will play after a rapid recovery from an injury suffered in last week's win over the Raiders in Canberra.
