Titans second-rower Chris Grevsmuhl.

Chris Grevsmuhl's time on the Gold Coast has come to an end, released from his playing contract by mutual consent.

The former Rabbitohs and Panthers forward joined the Titans earlier in 2017, signing on to the end of the 2018 season. However a shoulder injury restricted Grevsmuhl to just four games, with his last appearance in Gold Coast colours coming in Round 8 against Cronulla.

After leaving the Panthers in 2016, Grevsmuhl spent the summer working in the New South Wales central west town of Orange, training with local club Orange CYMS before linking with the Titans in the early rounds of the 2017 Telstra Premiership season.

The Townsville product made his NRL debut at South Sydney in 2015 after coming through North Queensland's NYC side.
