The Season

In preparation for the next GIO Cup clash, two famous alumni are invited back to the school to pass on advice, while the Strength and Conditioning department continue to prepare the boys for the physically demanding schedule.

Months of hard work are put on line when Westfields face Hills Sports High in the State Grand Final. The challenge takes it toll, and the coaching team is anxious about the mental and physical state of its players leading into the National Grand Final.

The State Quarterfinal against Patrician Brothers sees Westfields rally back from a seemingly lost cause, while off the field study plans are put in place to ensure that exam goals and tertiary expectations are met.

The team puts in their best performance so far this year against Endeavour Sports, and cruise into the State Grand Final, while the Rugby League captain prepares for the last few games of his high school sporting life.

The doors open at Westfields Sports High School as students begin their academic year. But attention soon turns to the up coming rugby league season as the defending national champions start to piece together their plan for the 2017 defence.
