Game One of this year's Holden State of Origin Series marks the 100th clash between fierce rugby league rivals New South Wales and Queensland. To mark the occasion NRL.com is reliving 100 of the most iconic moments of the past 34 years of this compelling contest. Right through to Game Three on July 9, we'll publish videos of the Milestones, Superstars, Gamebreakers, Superplays, Heroes, Emotions and Controversy - all of the exciting elements that have made Origin the most-watched spectacle in rugby league. 22. 1980, Tom Raudonikis scores in his only Origin match

As synonymous with Origin as Beetson, NSW terrier Tommy Raudonikis also only featured in one match, but unsurprisingly is the name Blues fans conjure when taunted by their rivals that Origin means more north of the border. With his career winding toward its twilight Raudonikis was at his tenacious best as he led his side in the historic encounter, and was rewarded for his persistence with a try from close range that kept the Blues within striking distance late in the match in what proved to be his final representative fixture.
