Dream Team explained

The official NRL fantasy league is back in 2009 bigger, better and renamed, Toyota NRL Dream Team.

THE PRE-SEASON is under way & the real stuff is about to begin.

Yep, footy is back and so is the official fantasy league game, Toyota NRL Dream Team – the competition that puts you in the coach’s box.

Toyota NRL Dream Team is rugby league’s leading fantasy game, meaning it’s the one and only fantasy destination for those backseat coaches who want to prove they can pick a squad that’ll beat all comers or just take on their mates, for bragging rights, in a private league.

  • Live scores for your team online and on your NextG™ mobile, keeping your closer than ever to your squad
  • Streamlined team selection interface and tools
  • Your own private watch-list that allows you to keep tabs on players you’re considering trading for
  • A personal notepad on your team page so you can write and store important info where you need it
  • The world’s first NRL shield logo creator, which lets you build a custom retro logo of your team
And of course there’ll be a few other surprises and the biggest prize pool yet.

What’s Back

The main competition and the Eliminator return, better than ever.

The essence of Dream Team remains the same. As usual, the salary cap and trades allow you keep a good balance of stars and consistent performers, as well as some room for a ‘smokey’ or two.

Enter your team into three separate leagues, and invite your friends.

What’s Up For Grabs

The prizes on offer this year are bigger and better than ever before.

Top the ladder and you will ride into the sunset with your choice of a Toyota car package.

Your choice of a Toyota. Pick from the versatility and performance that comes with the Yaris and Corolla duo or the front-row toughness of the Hilux. Alternatively, score the blistering pace of the Aurion V6, or tackle whatever you dare with the all-round machine: the Rav 4.

Win the Eliminator, and a first prize of $1000 cash is yours, but remember to get in early as the entry numbers are limited.

Weekly prizes are back, and there is great news for struggling coaches – random prizes are also in the mix.

Each weekly winner will take home $750 cash, while a random coach each week will win $250. So you could get lucky just by being in the game.

Register Early and Win

Sign up before March 03 and you’ll be in the running for even more great prizes.

NRL.com gives you 12 general access tickets to the league and a cash prize of $1000 to spend on pies, merchandise when you’re there … or not.

This is an early-registration, random-draw prize, so register early!
