The NRL has been advised that it may not receive confirmation of Karmichael Hunt’s H1N1 test until tomorrow.

Despite widespread speculation, the NRL is unable to discuss arrangements in relation to Friday night’s game between the Broncos and the Bulldogs until that result is confirmed.

“We are certainly staying in close contact with NSW and Queensland Health authorities and until such time as we have all the necessary information we cannot discuss the matter further,” NRL Chief Operating Officer, Mr Graham Annesley, said today.

“There are a number of factors that need to be taken into account and we need all the information at hand to do so.

“Our primary objective at this stage is still to play all games as scheduled if possible.”
