The Brisbane Broncos will wear yellow jerseys to raise funds for cancer research in their July 3 match against the Warriors.
Yellow is the colour of Livestrong and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which were established by cancer survivor and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
Each Broncos player jersey features the Livestrong logo, Armstrong’s embroidered signature and will also be signed by the player. The jerseys will be auctioned post-match via a website, with all funds raised shared between the Lance Armstrong Foundation and Cancer Council Queensland.
