1000 matches for the Panthers this Friday

This Friday night, the Penrith Panthers will play their 1000th match since entering the elite competition in 1967, and in honour of this massive achievement, the club will be hosting some of its biggest celebrations in its 43 season history!

To acknowledge the past, the Panthers will play this Friday’s clash in a replica of their inaugural 1967 chocolate brown strip, whilst some of the Panthers greats from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s will take on some of the Dragon’s greats in a Golden Oldies clash prior to the main game kick off.

A limited edition team print containing images of the most memorable moments and players from the thousand matches will be made available for free to the first one thousand members on the day

There will be memorabilia and merchandise specially produced to mark the night and the Panthers are also encouraging all supporters to help us celebrate by wearing their heritage strip to the match. A draw will take place for any supporter wearing the heritage strip to win a $500 merchandise voucher.

With rides and face painting also available, there will be plenty for the kids as well on this historic day, and to make it affordable for the whole family to attend, the Panthers are offering Family tickets for just $40!

With the Panthers chasing a place in the top four and a home final against the ladder topping Dragons, make sure you’re at CUA Stadium this Friday for this historic night!
