KAB Week Kicks off next Monday, 24th August, so with only one week to go, now is the time to register online for the Waste Reduction Challenge.

The NRL One Community Program is a promotional partner of Keep Australia Beautiful Week for the second year in a row and Rugby League fans are being urged to get involved.

One easy way to participate is by recycling your old or broken mobile phones, batteries and other accessories with MobileMuster at your local Cartridge World store or participating Telstra Shops.

For every mobile phone recycled at Cartridge World during August, you will receive a 10% discount voucher on printer cartridge refills.  Refilling or recycling empty printer cartridges at Cartridge World is another easy way to keep them out of landfill where they can take up to 450 years to break down.

Schools and Junior Rugby League clubs can also get involved for the chance to win a range of great prizes to help keep school and sports grounds litter and waste free.
There are eight prize packages up for grabs, one for each state and territory.

Prizes include a $2500 Bunnings Gift Voucher (overall winner only), plus free Do the Right Thing rubbish and recycling bin stickers, and metal signage from the Packaging Stewardship Forum of the Australian Food and Grocery Council; Samsung printers provided by Cartridge World; Scholastic Book Club prizes; Tumbleweed Can-O-Worms and more.
