Injured Sharks five eighth Trent Barrett has claimed that the Brisbane Broncos were lucky to win against a desperate North Queensland Cowboys outfit on Friday night at Dairy Farmers Stadium. <br><br>In a fiery affair that ended the Cowboys finals hopes, Brisbane escaped with the vital two competition points, continuing their late season purple patch.<br>“I thought they [Brisbane] were a bit lucky. I didn’t think two of their tries in the first half were tries.” Barrett admitted to Bigpond Sports Weekend<br><br>“I thought it [Brisbane’s first try] was a forward pass… and the second one I thought he dropped it.” <br>The controversy began when soon-to-be AFL export Karmichael Hunt appeared to pass the ball forward to a flying Israel Falou in the sixteenth minute.
