MANLY’S Josh Perry says his side has put last week’s disappointing fade-out and the loss of star Brett Stewart behind it and is focused solely on tackling Parramatta on Sunday.

The Sea Eagles gave up a 20-4 half-time lead against Wests Tigers last week, eventually losing 26-22 as Lote Tuqiri ignited his side in the Monday night thriller.

In a crushing blow to the side’s premiership ambitions, Stewart has been ruled out for up to five months with a serious left knee injury.

Perry said Manly’s players were at a loss after the game, but they had moved on quickly and were prepared for the Eels, who lost to St George Illawarra by six points in round one.

“It was a tough game. But to come back and then get run down in the last five minutes was pretty devastating,” Perry told BigPond Sports Weekend on Saturday.

“When you’re playing the Tigers, they’re one of those teams you don’t want to give a sniff to.
