Fox Sports commentator Matt Russell has his weekly look at the Toyota Cup before a round that will see action televised from Melbourne and Shark Park.<br><br><b>Try, try, try, try..</b><br><br>Four-try hauls are rare - even in the Toyota Cup frenzy - but Round 14 tossed up two of them!<br><br>Roosters' winger Mark Kheirallah scored two in each half against Melbourne on Monday night, taking his season tally to 15 - the best in the league.<br><br>It was the fifth time this season Kheirallah has finished a game with multiple tries.<br><br>Kheiralla is a Mascot junior, who came through South Sydney's junior ranks.<br><br>His performance was matched by Gold Coast winger Ryan Tongia who bagged four tries against Manly last Friday.<br><br>Tongia doubled his season try-tally in one game, going from four to eight.<br><br>The Logan Brothers junior has already represented Queensland's Under 16s and 18s... not to mention Papua New Guinea.<br><br><b>Coming good..</b><br><br>Tongia's try haul helped Gold Coast make it three wins from their last four games.<br><br>After a slow start to the season, Rod Patison's men are coming good, especially in attack.<br><br>In their last four games, the Titans have scored more than 30 points.<br><br>It will be tough aganist another improver this week... the Bulldogs have scored more than 30 over their last five games, all of them wins.<br><br><b>Paying the price..</b><br><br>North Queensland and Manly are still being punished for their wild brawl in Round 12.<br><br>Seven players were suspended and since then neither have scored a win.<br><br>It has seen the competition leaders slide to fourth and fifth, behind the Tigers, Rabbitohs and Roosters.<br><br>Admittedly, just one win separates the top six teams.<br><br>Manly have a chance to bounce back against the Bunnies this weekend, in what shapes as the match of the round.<br><br>North Queensland head to Melbourne, which is struggling in second last after a 60-12 thumping by the Roosters.<br><br>You can see if the Cowboys can add to Melbourne's pain on Saturday when we Simon Woolford and I bring you all the action from AAMI Park. It's part of Super Saturday on Fox Sports 2. <br><br><b>Capital punishment..</b><br><br>Canberra has been a success story of the Toyota Cup.<br><br>The Raiders won the inaugural premiership and were finalists again last year.<br><br>They looked in trouble earlier this season but have now won three of their last four.<br><br>Most recently the Raiders downed North Queensland 38-24 on the back of try-scoring for doubles from Sami Sauiluma and Drury Low.<br><br>Canberra is out to keep the momentum going against Wests Tigers at Campbelltown this weekend in another interesting encounter.<br><b><br>Newcastle.. horrible one week, good the next</b><br><br>For the second time this season, Newcastle has rebounded from giving up 60 points to win the following week.<br><br>Earlier this season, the Knights were beaten 62-10 by Melbourne, only to beat Manly 30-22 seven days later.<br><br>Now they've bounced back from a 64-32 disgrace against Penrith to down the Warriors 38-10.<br><br>The inconsistency is making life tough for Garth Brennan, who has been as much psychologist and tactician in recent times.<br><br>He must have a good couch, because the Knights are eighth and still right in the competition.<br><br>What is he going to get against Parramatta this week?<br><br><b>Shaking the Shire..</b><br><br>The other television game this week comes from Shark Park... where shock and dismay, rain is forcast on Sunday.<br><br>Still, it shapes as a tight Toyota Cup affair.<br><br>The home side is hurting after consecutive four-point losses against Brisbane and the Roosters.<br><br>They sit among five sides separated by a point mid-table.<br><br>The Sharks deserve to be slight favourites against the Dragons, who were beaten 19-0 by the Warriors in their most recent game.<br><br>It's reaching desperation time for St George Illawarra, which sits 13th, after five wins and eight losses this season.<br><br>The Dragons showed they are more than capable when they beat Manly 22-14 at Brookvale recently.<br><br>They'll need a similar display against the Sharks.<br><br>You can see it on NRL Sunday from 11.30am EST when I'm joined by Brett Kimmorley.
