Cronulla Sharks v Manly Sea Eagles
7.30pm Saturday Toyota Park

Another traditional derby, ‘the battle of the beaches’ is a rivalry forged on the back of two grueling Grand Final’s in the seventies. In 1973, Manly prevailed in one of the most brutal Grand Finals ever, while in 1978, the Silvertails defeated their Shire rivals in a Grand Final replay.  In recent times, the Sharks have managed to upstage their more fancied rivals, however the Sea Eagles will be intent on making a statement only eight weeks out from the Grand Final.
