Anticipation for this Saturday’s match between the Parramatta Eels and Sydney Roosters at Parramatta Stadium is reaching fever pitch, with tickets to the highly important Round 21 clash selling very quickly.

Due to the high demand for the match, Junior League passes will not be permitted and fans are encouraged to pre-purchase to avoid disappointment.  This Saturday’s clash is also an NRL Family Fun Day match, meaning Family Tickets can be secured for just $40. There will be plenty of activities to entertain the whole family off the field, including face painting, jumping castle, petting zoo, DJ, Eat Well, Play Well, Stay Well, Healthy Harold and Sparky & Sparkle.

On the field, Saturday’s game will see two of the form teams of the Telstra Premiership go head to head, with the Eels looking for their forth win in a row, whilst the Roosters are chasing their fifth. The Jack Gibson Cup will also be on offer, honouring one of the most successful coaches ever in Rugby League, who led both the Eels and the Roosters to premiership victory.  Gibson will also be immortalised at Parramatta Stadium on Saturday night when a new tribute to him is unveiled, with his family in attendance.

The match will also commemorate the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II, with veteran, Mr Wally Eurell to present the game ball at kick off.  Mr Wally Eurell, fought in the Pacific from 1942-45, while both clubs fielded players in 1947 who were ex-Servicemen who fought in World War II.
