The Wests Tigers have announced today that they will play their Home Final at the Sydney Football Stadium.

The date and time of the game will be determined in the next few days, once the final places of the top eight teams are confirmed.

Commenting on the announcement, Wests Tigers Chief Executive Stephen Humphreys said, “We are very fortunate to have three wonderful home venues and whilst we love Campbelltown Sports Stadium and Leichhardt Oval, the Sydney Football Stadium is the logical choice to host our much anticipated Home Final.

The Sydney Football Stadium is widely regarded as the premier Rugby League venue in Sydney and we feel strongly that the big games deserve to be staged at the best venues. “

This decision will see Wests Tigers return to the scene of one of their great Finals victories in 2005 which culminated in Premiership success that year.

Wests Tigers captain, Robbie Farrah added, “The atmosphere created by our fans at the Sydney Football Stadium in 2005 was unbelievable and was a huge factor in our success. I’m calling on all Wests Tigers fans to re-create that amazing feeling next week.”

In a massive win for Wests Tigers members, they will be entitled to purchase up to ten tickets each for the Home Final.

“I am thrilled that the choice of venue has enabled us to deliver this unique benefit to our loyal members who are such an important part of our success this year” Humphreys continued.

For any non-members wishing to take advantage of this incredible offer, all you have to do is join up now for a season 2011 Membership before 6 September, 2010 and you will be eligible for the pre purchase window. Visit for more information.
