Manly Warringah Sea Eagles centre Steve Matai faces the longest suspension for an NRL player this season after accepting a 7-week ban for an early plea on a grade three reckless high tackle.<br><br>Matai and teammate Jason King will both miss this Sunday's sudden-death Qualifying Final against the Dragons, with King taking the early plea and a one-week suspension for a grade one careless high tackle.<br><br>A third Sea Eagles player, Chris Bailey, was also charged with a grade one careless high tackle during Manly's loss to the Bulldogs on Sunday but escapes suspension.<br><br>Matai will also miss the Four Nations tournament for New Zealand in October following his lengthy suspension after the grade three reckless high tackle on a Michael Ennis in the 50th minute.<br><br>The South Sydney Rabbitohs Dave Taylor also took the ealry plea on a grade one careless high tackle and escapes suspension.
