The 2010 season has produced some breathtaking tries, and trying to pick the best is like trying to figure out which of your children you love the most.

So... we'll leave the tough call to you - the fans.

Having started on Monday, we are posting five nominations for the Game Analyser 'Try of the Year' every day this week. Each nomination has been submitted by our good pals at Big League magazine.

Here's how you vote. Watch each try on our BWS Game Analyser. If you like the try, then click on the 'Like on Facebook' link to vote. This will take you to our Facebook page. When you're there, simply 'Like' the try you wish to vote for. The try with the most fan 'Likes' at the end of the week wins (calculated on Monday morning).

What's in it for you, you say? OK. We'll pick a random Facebook participant when the 'Likes' are tallied on Monday morning. That lucky fan will pocket four (4) tickets to a Sydney-based Premliminary Final. So without further ado, here's our third nomination.

Nomination No.3
Simon Mannering (New Zealand Warriors) – Round 3

CLICK HERE to watch Mannering's try now.

CLICK HERE to 'LIKE' this try on Facebook now.

On the far side of the field, fullback Lance Hohaia spirals a ball out to James Maloney, who fires a ball to second-rower Ben Matulino in what looks to be a simple, innocuous 3rd-tackle play. But the Warriors are rarely ever simple. Matulino heads in-field and gets hit by Alex Glenn, but manages to sneak an offload back to his halfback.

The right-side pairing of Brent Tate and Kevin Locke then get called into play. Tate attempts skirt past Ben Te’o but doesn’t get far, slipping an inside pass to Locke. The light-footed winger beats two, but gets to a third defender and then gives the ball back to Maloney for his third touch of the play, and he looks back to the other side of the field.

Maloney finds prop Sam Rapira rampaging towards the posts, but he offloads to Hohaia. It’s all ad lib footy up to that point, but the fullback sees an overlap on the left, and cuts out three players to hit the chest of second-rower Simon Mannering.

The Warriors captain draws Denan Kemp before releasing Jerome Ropati, but the cover defense races across. Ropati sends Vatuvei inside and the ‘The Beast’ then puts Mannering over the line with the twelfth and final pass of what seemed like a never-ending passage of play that went from one side of the field to the other, and back again!

CLICK HERE to watch Mannering's try now.

CLICK HERE to 'LIKE' this try on Facebook now.

Missed our first nomination? Click here to see Nathan Gardner's solo effort.

Missed our second nomination? Click here to see Akuila Uate's try from a kick-off.
