A NSW club running under the motto “Everyone’s Club” is one of the finalists for the Telstra One Community Grassroots Club of the Year. <br><br> The Kellyville Bushrangers are in the running for the award which is presented to a Rugby League club that has fostered participation and enjoyment at all levels of the sport, has shown innovation in administration and has become an integral part of their community. <br><br> The Bushrangers Club embraces players and members from all walks of life, and has many children with disabilities, both physical and intellectual, as well as acute medical conditions, among its 360 junior players. <br><br> In 2010 they also welcomed their first all girls team, the Under 6 side “The Princesses”, as a way to promote girls participation in Rugby League. They also raised a significant amount of money for charity and are particularly passionate about supporting Cure Our Kids after losing one of its treasured players to cancer earlier in the year. <br><br> Telstra will provide the winner with two Telstra Assistance Packs valued at $2,000 each plus $2,000. <br><br> <b>The finalists are: Kellyville Bushrangers, NSW; Edmonton Storm RLC, QLD; Valleys Rugby League, Toowoomba QLD.</b>
