Roosters' Dally M winning five-eigth Todd Carney has escaped suspension with a low grade charge on his careless high tackle on the Titans' Scott Prince on Friday night and will be clear to play in the 2010 Telstra Premiership Grand Final next Sunday. <br> Carney received a grade 1 charge which carries 56 points for an early plea and only 75 for a guilty plea, meaning he is free to play in the Premiership-decider against the Dragons at ANZ Stadium. <br> The incident occurred in the 37th minute of their Preliminary Final win over the Gold Coast at Suncorp Stadium and had Carney nervously awaiting the NRL Match Review Committee's decision. <br> The Dragons' lock Jeremy Smith was also charged - for dangerous contact with the knee in the 73rd minute against the Tigers last night - but he will escape a 1-week suspension with an early plea.
