Toyota NRL Dream Team fans will get an early taste of fantasy football action this year, with the inaugural Toyota NRL All Stars Dream Team mini-game.

Pick six players from the NRL All Stars and Indigenous All Stars squads, then see how your Dream Team performs on the field in the 2012 All Stars game at Skilled Stadium on February 4.

Your players will earn fantasy points for their real life efforts, as your Dream Team battles thousands of other coaches and their hand-picked teams.

At the end of the game, the coach with the highest points will win $5,000 cash!

The game will be the first showcase of the new Toyota NRL Dream Team scoring rules in 2012, and – like the All Stars game itself – will also be played under some new special rules.

In Toyota All Stars Dream Team, your designated captain will score triple points, while your vice captain will score double points.

You must pick one player for each position (fullback/winger; centre; half; second row; front row; and hooker), with no restrictions on how many players you can select from the Indigenous All Stars or NRL All Stars.

All other scoring is the same as regular Toyota NRL Dream Team.

With no leagues or head-to-head match-ups, everyone is simply in the running to win the prize. If more than one team is tied with the highest score, the coach who registered first wins the lot.

Toyota All-Stars Dream Team registrations open Wednesday, January 25 on NRL.com, so get in quick and good luck!
