The NRL Membership premiership is proving just as competitive and fierce as the game on the field, and in the opening two weeks has already attracted over 6,700 supporters to commit to their club for 2012.

The club that signs the most members in each race between February 4 and 24th will win $10,000. The best way to support your club is to become a member. You’ll enjoy member only benefits such as great seats, exclusive team access, discounts on club gear, members only events, plus priority booking periods for tickets to the Grand Final and State of Origin.

In the Battle of the West, only 15 memberships split the Bulldogs, Tigers and Eels. After their return to Belmore trial match, the Bulldogs are just leading, but the three chasing clubs have recorded good numbers over the past few days and are closing the gap.

In the Battle of the Beaches, NRL Premiers Manly have taken the lead for the first time, recording over 400 members. With Manly taking on Leads in the World Club Challenge this weekend, the club is expecting their fans to jump on board for what promises to be a great season on the Northern Beaches.

The Battle of the Heavyweights has lived up to its name, with the traditionally strong membership clubs all registering massive numbers. All four clubs have recorded over 550 members since the start of the Race, with the Knights leading the way.

The Inter City Battle has had the most leader changes out of the four races, with the Storm opening up a small gap from the Raiders, Cowboys and 2011 Grand Finalists the Warriors not far adrift.
