Sydney Roosters v Penrith Panthers
Round 18, 2011
Sydney Football Stadium

The Roosters carved up the Panthers 34-26 at a windy SFS in Round 18 last year, with Todd Carney scoring a double in his most damaging display of the season.

The home side led 22-14 at halftime before Luke Lewis crossed immediately after the break for a 22-20 scoreline. Tries to Roosters Braith Anasta and Shaun Kenny-Dowall sealed the deal. Two players who won’t be there this weekend were the Roosters’ most punishing: Carney made two line-breaks and 170 metres, while Kenny-Dowall added 167 metres, eight tackle busts and two offloads.

The Panthers were best served by Lewis (142 metres) and fullback Lachlan Coote (two tries and four offloads).
