Last year’s Dally M award winner and Golden Boot winner Billy Slater, is already the outright leader of the Provan Summons Award after just two rounds of the 2012 NRL Telstra Premiership.
Slater’s two tries, six tackle-breaks and one line-break against the Rabbitohs, was enough to secure the best-on-ground tag by the fans.
The current Queensland and Australian fullback leads the Provan Summons voting by one point from Manly’s halfback Daly Cherry-Evans and Rabbitohs Sam Burgess.
Other strong performers from Round Two included match-winning fullback Mathew Bowen from the North Queensland Cowboys and three-try hero for the Bulldogs, Josh Morris.
