The injury to Sam Burgess is the biggest news in Toyota NRL Dream Team this week, with Greg Bird, Kurt Gidley and Gareth Ellis also hitting the casualty ward.

If you want to know your best options replacing Burgess, then check out this week's tips from resident Toyota NRL Dream Team expert Rob Bruns.

Here are Brunsy's tips for Round 6:

1. When trading in players, aim for players who won't play in State of Origin, and players who don't have byes in Round 11 (the first major bye round).

2. If you're weak in the front row, you need to trade Sam Burgess for a solid scorer. Options include Jared Waera-Hargreaves, Aaron Woods and Tinirau Arona.

3. If you need to trade Burgess for a back-rower, consider Liam Fulton and cash cow Sam Mataora.
