A brief spell in the Telstra Premiership last year has paid dividends for the development of Panthers halfback Harry Seijka, who again had another dominant performance for the Panthers on Monday Night Football.
The current competition top pointscorer, Siejka was heavily involved in the Panthers' 44-0 win over the Sea Eagles, scoring two tries and converting six of Penrith’s eight tries to add another 20 points to his growing total.
A former Bathurst junior, Seijka has been groomed by the Panthers for a number of years now in the Toyota Cup, making his debut in 2008. The continued experience in the grade has helped the Panthers win the last four matches and move them to second on the Toyota Cup ladder.
The Panthers will take on the third placed Wests Tigers next Sunday at Centrebet Stadium at 12:45pm.
