Brisbane forward Ben Te'o will face the NRL judiciary panel tonight to contest his grade three dangerous contact charge from the Broncos Round 6 match against the Wests Tigers.

Te'o risks a four-match ban if found guilty by the judiciary's three-man panel for his shoulder charge on Wests Tigers prop Matt Groat. The charge would have seen Te'o miss three matches had he taken the early guilty plea. Te'o is the first player to face a grade three for a shoulder charge, with Frank Pritchard having recently served a 1 match suspension over his Grade 1 charge on David Simmons.

Below is the Ben Te'o tackle in question and some similar shoulder charges from season’s gone by Don’t forget to jump back on NRL.com later tonight ( 7pm ) to see how Te'o went at the judiciary.
