The Gold Coast Titans NYC side has registered their first win of the season with a 23-8 win over Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium tonight.

After suffering seven straight losses to start the year, the Titans finally were rewarded with their first win for new coach Jamie O'Connor with a dominant victory.

The Titans set up the victory with a strong first half, racing away to a 16-0 lead just before the break.

The Broncos clawed their way back into the match with the first try after halftime but it was as close as they would get as the Titans kicked a field goal inside the final 10 minutes to edge ahead 17-4.

The Broncos scored an unconverted try with five minutes remaining but the Titans sealed the win with a try to Jackson Springer right on the full-time siren.

Winger Lausi'i Taliauli, fullback Jahrome Hughes and back rower Sam Gee scored first half tries for the Titans to help set-up the victory.
