The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs may have lost winger Steve Turner for the rest of the season after the City Origin try-scorer was forced off the field with a serious knee injury on the weekend.
The full extent of the patella injury will be known later this week when Turner undergoes scans.
In other injury news from round 8 of the Telstra Premiership, Warriors fullback Kevin Locke is set to be out for up to four weeks with the sternum injury he suffered against the Storm on ANZAC Day, while Beau Scott’s dislocated elbow will force the Dragon out for up to six weeks.
Manly's Dave Williams and North Queensland's James Segeyaro are both expected to be fine for round 9 of the Premiership.
