The Gold Coast Titans NYC side has gone down 34-6 to the table-topping Wests Tigers in a fiery encounter at Skilled Park tonight.

After coming off their first win of the season last week, the Titans under 20’s were unable to contain the Tigers crafty halves who were gifted prime attacking position thanks to their barnstorming forward pack.

After sizing each other up early on in the game, it was an error from the Titans in the 13th minute which opened the gate for the Tigers who shot-away to an 18-0 half-time lead through tries to Marika Koroibete, Inno Inosesio and Jordan Marshall-King.

The game looked to set to erupt in the second-half when Tigers utility Soni Pasi was sent to the sin-bin, but despite having the extra-man for ten minutes the Titans struggled to hold onto possession and conceded three crucial tries to David Nofoaluma, Sauaso Sue and Manaia Rudolph to soon find themselves trailing 34-0.

Despite the score-line the Titans continued to attack the Tigers line and were rewarded in the 76th minute when centre Mitch Ardler crossed next to the posts, and with Jamal Fogarty converting to bring the full-time score to 34-6.

The Titans will look to hit-back next week when they travel down to Sydney to take on the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Wets Tigers 34(M Koroibete, I Inosesio, J Marshall-King, D Nofoaluma, J Sue; M Rudolph 5 conversions) defeated Gold Coast Titans 6 (M Ardler; Jamal Fogarty 1 conversion).
