Toyota Cowboys NYC coach Todd Wilson has made one change to his team for Saturday night’s round 10 Toyota Cup match against Newcastle at Hunter Stadium.

Jayden Hodges has been recalled to the interchange bench for the fourth game of his rookie season with Jack Svendsen unavailable for personal reasons.

The Cowboys’ confidence received a much-needed boost when they ended a seven-game losing sequence by coming from 24-6 behind to claim a 24-all draw with St George Illawarra at Dairy Farmers Stadium on Saturday night.

Newcastle have been one of the form teams of the under-20s competition this year, winning six of their first nine games to be fifth on the ladder, nine places ahead of the Cowboys.

The Knights, coached by former Cowboys NRL assistant coach Mick Crawley, boast the second best defensive record, conceding just over 20 points per game.
