Roosters forward Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is facing a one-match ban after he was charged for two separate tackles by the NRL match review committee on Tuesday.

Hargreaves was charged with two separate grade 1 careless high tackles in his side’s 14-all draw with Cronulla at Toyota Stadium on Monday night.

The first tackle was on Sharks forward Ben Ross in the 13th minute, while the second incident involved halfback Jeff Robson in the 63rd minute.

Hargreaves will miss his side’s local derby with South Sydney in Round 19 if he takes the early plea to both charges. He could face two weeks on the sidelines if he fights the charges at the judiciary and loses.

The Roosters will have until midday on Wednesday to enter a plea.
