Broncos prop Ben Hannant doesn't mince his words when asked about his team's loss to the bottom of the table Parramatta Eels in round 21.

"It was embarrassing," says Hannant.

The Brisbane forward is also very clear on the club's road ahead, even though they face a tough run to the finals with games against the Bulldogs, Storm and Sea Eagles.

"If we want to win this comp what better way to do it than playing three of the top teams," he said.

"Age isn't a factor and it's not an excuse at our club. Hook makes it very clear if you're in the team you have a job to do.

"It's an attitude thing, it's a matter of when you're tired and fatigued you get a little voice in your head. The good teams and players are the ones who keep turning up and making the right plays."

In round 22, Hannant and the Broncos face the Raiders, who haven't beaten them since 2010.
