The 2012 season has been Toyota NRL Dream Team's biggest year to date, offering armchair coaches brand new All Stars and State of Origin mini-games on top of the best rugby league fantasy game in the business. We've had more prizes than ever before and a revised scoring system that more accurately reflects the real thing, giving you more opportunity to score big and beat your friends and foes alike.

Along the way Toyota NRL Dream Team has overtaken the competition to become the most-played rugby league fantasy game in the country, with over 126,000 coaches competing for glory.

On the back of this big year it's with great pleasure that I'm able to confirm a dedicated NRL Finals Dream Team game to cap off 2012, for all of you dedicated Dream Team fans out there.

The Toyota NRL Dream Team Finals game will run as a separate entity once the regular DT competition wraps up after Round 26 of the Telstra Premiership. Registered players will be able to log in to the new game with their existing details and set up their 13-man finals Dream Team as well as their private leagues, ready to battle it out for four weekly cash prizes of $500 and an overall cash prize of $3000. New players can obviously sign up for free as well.

Registration will open on Wednesday, August 8, and the competition will commence with the first game in Finals Week 1 (Friday, August 31) running until Grand Final Day (Sunday, September 30), with Dream Team players able to register at any point throughout the comp.

The rules of the completion will be a mix of the Origin Dream Team and regular NRL Dream Team competitions.

Toyota NRL Dream Team Finals will work like this:
-    There are 13 players per team, with a $2.7m salary cap
-    There are unlimited trades between game weeks, but no reserves or auto emergencies
-    Player prices won't change, and are based on their performances in 2012 so far. Players won't be selectable once they drop out of the finals
-    Your team's captain will be awarded triple points, and your vice captain will get double points
-    All other scoring is the same as regular Toyota NRL Dream Team
-    If you set up your Finals Dream Team before game one of the finals series (September 7) you'll go into the running to win one of two early registration prizes of two Category 1 Grand Final tickets plus merchandise packs, so don't waste time thinking about getting your team registered – sign up to play now!

You can manage your Toyota NRL Dream Team and get live scores on your mobile, via NRL.com's FREE mobile site, or by downloading the FREE iPhone app or Android app.

And a quick reminder that Bundabery NRL Tipping goes all the way through to the NRL Grand Final this year as well and is on mobile as well.
