For the second time in two months, the Australian Rugby league Commission has been recognised internationally for outstanding community service.

We’ve been nominated as one of 7 finalists for a prestigious International Sports Marketing 360 Award, for demonstrating outstanding community service, and today’s the last day for league fans to get on line and make their vote count!

Rugby League fans have until 11:59pm today, Wednesday September 5, to vote via http://www.sportsmarketing360.com/awards.

Under the category of ‘Making the difference’, Rugby League has been nominated for the work and commitment made around All Stars – the Learn Earn Legend! program is being recognised for using the power of Rugby League to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (Indigenous) outcomes in education, employment, health and social well-being.

After winning the International Beyond Sport Federation ‘Governing Body of the Year’ Award in August, which celebrated Rugby League’s commitment to helping Indigenous communities, this is another fantastic way for our work to again be showcased to the world.

The top three nominations (voted for by the public) will be announced and a judging panel will then decide who will be the award winner. The awards will be presented to the winners at Sports Marketing 360 Awards in London on September 27th.
