The Raiders produced an extraordinary second-half comeback to thrash the Warriors in Round 26 of last season.

The Warriors scored four tries to one in the first half to lead 22-6 at the break, but that was the end of the scoring for them. The Raiders blitzed them with a 36-0 second half to win 42-22.

It was yet another collapse by the Warriors, and it ensured they finished the season with eight straight losses. Not surprisingly, in an 11-try match, there were several multiple try-scorers. Fullback Reece Robinson and centre Blake Ferguson each scored two for the Raiders, while winger Manu Vatuvei got two for the Warriors.

Five-eighth Josh McCrone didn't get among the tries for the Raiders, but he was an outstanding contributor to the win because of his superb playmaking and accurate kicking game.

The victory lifted the Raiders one rung on the ladder to a finishing position of sixth going into the finals. The Warriors finished 14th, and interim coach Tony Iro gave them the ultimate insult by calling them "soft".
