The NRL has approved a conditional registration for Josh Dugan to play with the St George Illawarra Dragons in the 2013 season.

“There has been an extensive review of the circumstances regarding Josh’s registration and the NRL has included a number of conditions that serve to safeguard both the ongoing welfare of the player and the integrity of the game,” NRL CEO, Mr Dave Smith, said.

“Josh has been actively engaged with the NRL’s welfare and education team and his ongoing commitment to the programs they have in place has demonstrated he is ready to return to the game.

“All parties understand the importance of the registration conditions and Josh is aware of the consequences should he fail to meet the standards to which he has agreed.”
