The NRL has today confirmed a time change to the Round 18 Telstra Premiership match between the Parramatta Eels and Penrith Panthers, which will now kick-off at 5.30pm on Saturday, July 13.

The match had originally been scheduled for a 7.30pm start.

“It is the only match scheduled for that evening and the earlier timeslot will be better suited to families wanting to attend,” NRL General Manager of Football Operations, Mr Nathan McGuirk, said today.

“It is a move we have made in consultation with our broadcast partner Fox Sports and I would like to thank the Eels and Panthers clubs for their support of this change.”

As part of the schedule change, the Holden Cup clash between the Eels and Panthers will now kick-off at 3.15pm.

Please note that the schedule for Rounds 21-26 of the Telstra Premiership will be announced the week following Round 16.

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today confirmed two venue changes ahead of the announcement of the schedule for the final six rounds, with their Round 22 match against the Warriors to now be played at Gosford and their Round 26 match against Penrith to now be played at Brookvale Oval.
