Both Queensland and New South Wales need to show discipline when it comes to potential flare-up situations.

Former Queensland workhorse Michael Crocker believes the NRL's clampdown on fighting means fists will not fly in Origin II tonight.

"I really don’t think it'll be an issue," the Rabbitohs forward told SportsFan Clubhouse.

"As Paul Gallen has said, it's a man's game and sometimes passions do boil over, so if it happens it happens. But if someone does get sent to the bin that's really crucial to their team because history has shown that it’s too hard to defend in Origin with 12 men."
