It was all the Panthers – in a previously unthinkable result – in Round 11 earlier this year as they beat the Dragons 19-0… at Kogarah!

It was a top-shelf from the no-frills Penrith side, who had managed just three victories from 26 prior trips to the venue. It was just the seventh time the club had held their opponents scoreless away from home.

The Panthers’ win came on the back of seven fewer errors from the visitors (just eight compared with St George Illawarra’s 15) as they used their superior ball control to create an additional two line-breaks and ultimately take an 18-0 lead to the half-time break.

From that point on, it was always going to prove too tough for the down-on-confidence Dragons.
