The NRL has today unveiled the final six rounds of the NRL Telstra Premiership draw with a host of big matches set to excite fans as the race to the finals hits full throttle.

The battle for the Minor Premiership looks set to be played out on Friday night’s with the 1st placed Rabbitohs to play a trio of high profile Friday Night games against fellow top four contenders, the Storm in Round 22, Sea Eagles in Round 23 and Roosters in Round 26.

A host of Saturday afternoon matches will also be played in the last six rounds, with five matches slated for a 3pm kick-off time highlighted by the St George Illawarra Dragons taking on the Wests Tigers 50 years to the day and at the exact same kick-off time as their infamous Grand Final in 1963 where the ‘Gladiators’ photo of Arthur Summons and Norm Provan was taken.

Only two wins separates 8th from 15th on the NRL ladder and a string of wins for any side could propel them into finals contention and the make-up of the finals could conceivably go down to the last game of the regular season when the Raiders host the Sharks at Canberra Stadium at 7pm.
